Axcera September 2026 Highlights: More Brands, More Markets, More Room to Build

Axcera
The Backbone of Next-Generation Trading Firms

A month that brought our direction into focus

For a prop firm, growth used to mean selling more challenges and onboarding more traders. Those goals still matter. But the operators we speak with are increasingly asking a broader set of questions.

How do we manage more than one brand without multiplying the work behind it? How do we enter another market while keeping the operation connected? How much freedom do we have to build our own experience as the business matures?

September was an important month for Axcera because several parts of our work came together around those questions. We made progress on Multi-Brand, expanded the markets and platforms our technology can support, and strengthened the foundation firms use to build around Axcera.

We also received recognition that means a great deal to our team: three FinanceFeeds Awards 2026.

The awards and the product work tell the same story. Axcera is becoming a more flexible infrastructure platform for firms whose ambitions extend beyond one brand, one market or one way of operating.

Three awards across the areas we care about most

This month, Axcera was named:

  • Outstanding Proprietary Trading Technology Provider
  • Most Innovative Prop Trading Infrastructure
  • Most Innovative Multi-Asset Prop Trading Solution

We are proud to receive all three. Each reflects a different part of what it takes to support a modern prop firm: the products teams use every day, the infrastructure connecting their operation and the flexibility to offer traders more than one type of experience. We shared more about the recognition in our FinanceFeeds awards announcement.

Awards are encouraging, but they matter most when the technology behind them proves itself in live businesses. As of August 2026, more than 2 million traders had been onboarded through the Axcera ecosystem, with more than 250,000 new trading accounts processed per month. Those figures represent firms with different products, audiences and operational needs.

They also make our responsibility clear. As the firms on Axcera grow, the platform must help them manage greater complexity without making their teams’ work harder.

Finance Magnates Awards 2026 nominations

Axcera is also nominated in three prop trading technology categories at the Finance Magnates Awards 2026, while our co-founder and CEO, Herman Shaho, is nominated for the B2B CEO Awards.

If you would like to support us, voting is open until 16 October: vote for Axcera and vote for Herman.

More brands, one connected operation

One of September’s most significant developments was Multi-Brand.

A firm may want to launch a second brand to reach a different audience, enter another market or test a new proposition. The brand its traders see should feel distinct. Behind the scenes, however, the operator should be able to manage the business without duplicating every part of its operation.

Multi-Brand is designed around that need. It gives firms a way to run several brands from one BackOffice while keeping the work organised for the people responsible for each one.

This is about more than saving staff from switching between systems. Managing several brands efficiently can change which growth opportunities a firm is able to pursue. A new idea no longer has to imply an entirely separate operational setup from the start.

Multi-Brand is currently open through a waitlist. Firms interested in exploring it can contact our team to discuss whether it fits their plans.

A new way for founders to get started

Our work with PropLaunch shows another side of this direction.

We often meet founders who understand their audience and have a strong idea for a prop firm, but face significant costs and operational decisions before they can test that idea. As we explained in our recent PropLaunch announcement, PropLaunch brings the operating components together under the founder’s brand. Axcera provides the technology, RUBIK brings specialist risk expertise, and PropLaunch coordinates the wider operation.

For us, it is an opportunity to support founders earlier in their journey. An established firm may use Axcera to manage several brands or build its own technology around the platform. A new founder may access the same underlying technology through a coordinated launch model. Both need an operation that can develop with the business.

Room to explore new markets

The firms we support are also looking beyond their original trading products.

Some began in Forex and CFDs and later expanded into Futures or Crypto. Others are considering what a different type of trading experience might offer their audience. Their technology needs to give them room to explore those decisions without forcing the team to rebuild its core operation for every new product.

In September, we expanded our platform coverage and became ready to support prediction markets through a new integration. Prediction markets introduce another category alongside the markets already supported by Axcera. We also continued adding trading platform options across existing markets.

Our partnership with Plaee, announced in early October, turns that direction into a new growth opportunity. By integrating Plaee’s SimTrader, we are giving prop firms access to thousands of simulated prediction markets, opening up more ways to engage existing traders and build a new potential revenue stream.

Firms can expand what they offer while continuing to manage trader operations, risk and payouts through Axcera. More choice for traders. More opportunity for operators. One connected operational foundation.

We do not see the value in announcing an integration for its own sake. What matters to a firm is whether it can offer the product it wants while keeping accounts, operational data and customer workflows manageable.

That is the direction of our multi-asset work: more choice for operators, supported by an infrastructure that can hold the business together as its offerings evolve.

More freedom to build on Axcera

In August’s update, we discussed how firms need more control over the technology behind their businesses. Some want an operating environment they can configure and use immediately. Others have development teams and want to build their own tools or trader experiences around the core platform.

September’s work on our OpenAPI moved that goal forward. We made a major set of improvements to the foundation firms use when connecting their own systems to Axcera.

For licensees, the opportunity is straightforward: use Axcera for the complex operational infrastructure underneath, while retaining more freedom over what they build for their traders and teams. That could mean a distinctive customer experience, internal tools suited to the firm’s processes or connections to other parts of its business.

This is a continuing direction for Axcera. The capabilities firms can build around will develop progressively, alongside the complete platform our licensees already use.

The everyday work matters just as much

A long-term platform vision has little value if the ordinary work of running a firm becomes frustrating.

September also brought improvements to reporting, trader communications, payout processes and the way account activity is handled. We continued working on data accuracy, security and performance across the platform.

These changes tend to be less visible than a new market or brand capability, but teams feel them every day. A clearer view of operational data helps someone act with confidence. A message that accurately reflects an account event saves confusion for a trader and the support team. A smoother payout workflow gives reviewers more time for the decisions that need their attention.

This is why our product work has to move on two tracks. We need to create room for firms to expand, while making the operation they run today more dependable and efficient.

Where to find us next

October and November bring two events we are looking forward to.

We will be at the London Prop Trading Expo on 23 and 24 October, at Old Billingsgate. The event brings together prop firms, brokers, platforms and service providers from across the industry, and our team will be there for the conversations that tend to shape the following year: where firms are taking their models, which operational problems keep recurring, and what operators expect from their technology next. If you are attending and would like to meet, get in touch.

We will also be at SiGMA World in Rome from 2 to 5 November, exhibiting at stand H8-8057, with a member of our team joining a panel. More details to follow closer to the event.

What September means for Axcera

The three FinanceFeeds awards recognise technology, infrastructure and multi-asset innovation. September’s work shows why those areas belong together.

An operator may run several brands, enter a new market and build its own customer experience. A new founder may choose a supported path into the industry through PropLaunch. In each case, the team still needs a clear view of the business and reliable processes behind every account.

Our goal is to give firms more freedom in what they build while handling more of the operational complexity underneath.

Axcera began by solving the needs of prop firms. We will continue to invest in those needs. At the same time, the platform is developing into a foundation that can support a wider range of trading products and business models. That evolution will happen through practical releases, guided by what our clients need as they grow.

September gave us a reason to celebrate and a clear reminder of the work ahead. Thank you to our team, clients and partners for helping us reach this point.
