Axcera
The Backbone of Next-Generation Trading Firms

Axcera has partnered with Plaee, a prediction-native technology provider, to give prop firms and brokers a faster route to offer simulated prediction market trading to the traders they already serve.

Axcera has integrated Plaee's SimTrader, enabling operators to introduce simulated YES/NO event contracts across thousands of markets while continuing to manage trader operations, risk, workflows, and payouts through Axcera.

Traders will be able to use simulated capital across short-dated markets covering areas including equities, crypto, FX, rates, and commodities, with real-time pricing designed to mirror live markets.

For operators, the objective is straightforward: introduce a new asset class and potential revenue line without building and operating a separate technology environment.

Simulated prediction markets meet existing prop trading infrastructure

Plaee's SimTrader provides the simulated prediction-market layer, including access to thousands of event markets, white-label web and mobile interfaces, API and iFrame integration options, and tools for promotions, rewards, tournaments, and personalization.

Because the product runs on simulated capital, it fits naturally into the challenge and evaluation model prop firms already operate. Firms can introduce prediction-market trading without building an exchange or operating a separate real-money venue.

Axcera continues to manage the surrounding operational environment, including trader and account management, risk, workflows, and payouts.

This allows firms already operating on Axcera to expand into prediction markets while retaining the infrastructure they use to manage the wider trader lifecycle.

“Prediction markets are becoming increasingly relevant to trading operators, but adding a new asset class can create additional operational and technology complexity,” said Herman Shaho, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of Axcera. “By connecting Plaee's prediction-market infrastructure with Axcera, firms can introduce the category while continuing to manage trader operations, risk, and payouts through the infrastructure they already use.”

Why prediction markets are gaining attention

The partnership comes as prediction markets move beyond a niche category and attract greater attention from trading operators.

According to KPMG, combined trading volume across Kalshi and Polymarket exceeded $40 billion in 2025, up from roughly $9 billion in 2024. KPMG

Institutional participation is also beginning to develop. Acuiti's Q2 2026 research found that 13% of proprietary trading firms were already active in prediction markets, with another 31% considering participation. Acuiti

For prop firms and brokers with existing trader communities, that creates a different question from simply whether prediction markets are growing.

The operational question is how to introduce the asset class without creating another disconnected technology environment, another set of trader workflows, and unnecessary complexity for internal teams.

That is the problem the Axcera and Plaee partnership is designed to address.

Simulated prediction markets also fit the commercial model prop firms already understand. Always-on markets can give traders another way to stay engaged between challenges and resets, while operators can introduce a new asset class through their existing branded programs.

Expanding the opportunity for existing traders

Axcera provides the operational infrastructure behind multi-asset prop trading businesses, covering areas such as prop firm CRM, trader onboarding and KYC, challenge and payout management, risk monitoring, reporting, payments, affiliate management, and automation.

The platform supports more than 100 integrations across trading platforms and other technology providers, while around 95% of operational workflows can run without manual intervention. Axcera-powered firms have onboarded more than 2 million traders and process more than 250,000 new trading accounts per month.

Integrating Plaee's SimTrader extends that operating environment into simulated prediction market trading.

Rather than requiring an operator to build a separate prediction-market platform and trader journey, the partnership connects Plaee's simulated prediction-market technology with Axcera's existing operational layer.

For firms evaluating prediction markets, this provides a more direct route to introducing the category to an established trader base.

A shared focus on the next phase of trading infrastructure

The partnership also creates opportunities for Axcera and Plaee to collaborate on industry education, events, research, and content as prediction markets develop further across proprietary trading and brokerage.

Both companies will use their respective expertise to help operators understand not only the potential of prediction markets, but also the technology and operational requirements behind introducing them effectively.

"Plaee is building the world’s most complete prediction market infrastructure, and today we’re proud to bring Simulated Prediction Markets to the Prop Trading industry, together with Axcera” said Leon Okun, co-founder & CEO of Plaee. ” Axcera already provides the operational foundation used by prop firms to manage their traders and businesses. Our partnership builds on this foundation to give Prop Trading firms a turnkey solution that removes the hurdles of product development and time to market."
