Axcera April 2026 Highlights

What April Looked Like on Our End
Some months ship features. This month, the engineering team went deep on refactoring and performance optimisation across the core platform.
That work does not produce a changelog. There is no new module to announce, no integration to showcase. But it is some of the most important work we do, and we want to be straightforward about it rather than fill this update with content that does not reflect where the team's energy actually went.
Refactoring is the work of making the platform faster, cleaner, and more resilient before the next wave of features lands on top of it. The Q2 roadmap we shared in March is substantial. Audit Centre, live data streaming, payout risk review, Open API write capabilities, the Apps and Integrations Hub. Shipping those well requires a foundation that can carry the load. April was about making sure that the foundation is solid.
What This Means for Operators on the Platform
In practical terms, optimisation work produces two outcomes that matter to your team even if they are invisible in the UI.
The first is reliability under load. As firms on the platform grow their active trader base, the infrastructure absorbs more concurrent data, more account state changes, and more automated rule executions simultaneously. Refactoring reduces the technical debt that accumulates with every release cycle and ensures the platform continues to perform at scale without degradation.
The second is a cleaner architecture for the features ahead. Every new capability in Q2 will integrate into a more stable and better-documented codebase. That means faster delivery, fewer edge cases, and a smoother experience when those features reach your team.
One Thing Worth Your Time This Month
If you have not read the piece we published earlier this month, it is worth setting aside ten minutes:
Why Automation Is the Core Competitive Advantage for Prop Firms in 2026
The prop trading industry went through a significant correction in 2024 and 2025. The firms that came through it share a consistent pattern: they had embedded automation into the core of their operations before the pressure arrived. The article covers real-time risk enforcement, payout automation, multi-phase programme management, and compliance readiness in practical terms.
It is not a product piece. It is a framework for thinking about where operational risk actually lives inside a prop firm, and what the difference between manual and automated workflows looks like when volume increases.
Q2 Is Close
We will have more to share soon. The roadmap items previewed in March are in active development, and the next release cycle is on track. When there is something concrete to show, this newsletter will be the first place it lands.
In the meantime, our support team is available around the clock and the product team is always open to a direct conversation about your firm's infrastructure needs.
