Axcera Appoints Zbyšek Němec as Chief Technology Officer

Axcera is pleased to announce the appointment of Zbyšek Němec as its new Chief Technology Officer.

Zbyšek joins Axcera with more than 20 years of experience leading technology organizations through periods of rapid growth, structural change, and global scale. His career spans senior leadership roles as CTO, VP of Engineering, and COO, with a strong track record of transforming early-stage products into mature, enterprise-grade SaaS platforms.

Most notably, Zbyšek played a key role at Kontent.ai, where he helped spin off and scale the business into a well-funded, independent SaaS company. Across his career, he has consistently focused on building high-performance engineering organizations grounded in trust, accountability, and execution discipline.

At Axcera, Zbyšek will lead the technology and engineering function with a clear mandate: scale the platform reliably, strengthen internal systems, and accelerate AI-driven innovation across the product. His approach combines deep technical expertise with people-first leadership, ensuring that growth is sustainable, secure, and aligned with long-term strategy.

Zbyšek’s background in agile leadership, organizational design, and complex platform development makes him a strong fit for Axcera’s next phase. As the company continues to support some of the most demanding fintech and prop trading businesses globally, technology excellence and operational rigor remain core priorities.
