Axcera May 2026 Highlights

May was a month of significant momentum for Axcera. The engineering team shipped a substantial platform update, strengthening data visibility, analytics depth, compliance tooling, and risk controls. On the ground, the team was present at two of the industry’s most important events in Singapore and Cape Town. Here is what happened and what it means.
May Platform Update
This release is built around a single theme: giving firms more signals and control. Each improvement addresses a specific area in data quality, operational visibility, or risk precision that we hear about consistently from operators running at scale.
Expanded Rewards & Cashback Capabilities
We have further enhanced our Rewards and Cashback system, providing licensees with greater flexibility, additional features, and expanded trigger capabilities. These improvements give operators more control over how rewards are structured and delivered, allowing them to create more tailored engagement experiences, incentivize specific trader behaviours, and build reward programmes that better align with their business goals.
Enhanced Account Analytics and Filtering
Operations and risk teams now have a significantly richer analytical view across active accounts, eliminating the need to piece together information from disconnected exports. Add-on filtering capabilities have also been extended, giving users the ability to plan with far greater precision. These additions lay the groundwork for more advanced business intelligence and reporting across the platform.
Expanded Data Points and Filters
Power users now have access to a broader set of data points and filtering options across key back-office tables and payout workflows. Profit reporting has been enhanced with additional fields, and the overall filtering architecture has been standardised to support more advanced analytics use cases in upcoming releases.
Event Trigger Extensions
The event stream powering Axcera’s integrations with external tools — including webhooks, Zapier, and platforms like Klaviyo — has been significantly enriched. This enables more precise marketing automation, sharper CRM segmentation, and stronger compliance hooks without manual reconstruction downstream.
Improved KYC Compliance with KYCAid
Axcera has enhanced its KYC compliance infrastructure through a deeper integration with KYCAid. The updated integration surfaces additional data points during the verification process, giving compliance teams a more complete picture at the point of onboarding. This tightens the overall compliance workflow and reduces the manual review burden on operations staff, while strengthening the audit trail for firms operating across multiple jurisdictions.
Enhanced and New Rules
The proprietary trading landscape is continuously evolving, with firms regularly introducing new models, trader requirements, and risk frameworks. At Axcera, we remain at the forefront of these changes by continuously developing and enhancing rules that help our licensees adapt and stay competitive. Our focus is not only on expanding flexibility and product innovation, but also on ensuring firms can confidently navigate an ever-changing market environment while maintaining strong operational control and risk management.
Enhanced Reporting & Analytics
As the proprietary trading industry continues to mature, data-driven decision making has become increasingly important for sustainable growth. At Axcera, we continuously expand and improve our reporting capabilities to provide operators with deeper visibility into their business. Our focus is on equipping licensees with actionable insights that help them better understand performance trends, optimize operations, identify opportunities earlier, and confidently make strategic decisions in an increasingly competitive and fast-moving landscape.
Events
FM Singapore Summit 2026 — Singapore | 12–14 May 2026
The Axcera team returned from Singapore still feeling the energy of three packed days at the FM Singapore Summit 2026 at Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Axcera’s Commercial Director, Lubomir Marasi, joined the stage on 14 May as a panelist on “Overfunded or Underregulated? The APAC Prop Trading Story” — one of the summit’s most closely followed sessions. The discussion addressed where APAC prop trading is genuinely headed: the growth dynamics, the regulatory questions coming into sharper focus, and what sustainable scaling actually looks like in the region.
Beyond the panel, the summit reflected a clear shift in how the industry perceives infrastructure. Prop trading technology is no longer a niche consideration — it is a central part of the business conversation. AI, tokenisation, and liquidity innovation are reshaping how brokers and institutions operate across APAC, and the regulatory dialogue made clear that the firms preparing their infrastructure now will lead tomorrow.
We connected with a strong range of brokers, liquidity providers, fintech operators, and institutional players across the three days. APAC is moving fast, and we are moving with it.
FM Africa Summit 2026 — Cape Town | 26–27 May 2026
May also took the team to Cape Town for the FM Africa Summit 2026, one of the most important gatherings for the African and broader emerging-market trading community.
Africa is increasingly relevant to prop trading operators looking beyond saturated Western markets. The infrastructure challenges here are distinct — payment flows, multi-entity structures, execution reliability, and the operational complexity of serving traders across multiple jurisdictions simultaneously. These are problems Axcera is built to address, and the conversations in Cape Town reflected a genuine readiness to move from evaluation to deployment.
Two productive days. A strong mix of operators, brokers, and institutional players building in this market. A number of meaningful follow-up conversations now in motion. A market worth watching closely.
Upcoming Events
Axcera is heading to two major events in the coming weeks. If you are attending either, we would welcome the chance to meet in person.
- iFX EXPO International — Limassol, Cyprus — 16–18 June 2026
We will be at iFX EXPO International in Limassol. If you are a prop firm operator, broker, or fintech leader looking to discuss how your infrastructure supports your growth plans, we would welcome the chance to connect in person.
- Prop Firm Expo — London, UK — 27 June 2026
We will also be at the Prop Firm Expo in London. If you are building or scaling a prop trading operation and want to talk through your infrastructure, we are happy to set aside time before and during the event.
If you are attending either event and want to discuss how your infrastructure supports your growth plans, we would welcome the chance to meet in person. No booth. Just real conversations with the team.
