Operations Manager
We are seeking an organized, technically competent, and client-focused Operations Manager to lead and manage the onboarding process for new clients. This role bridges the gap between technical implementation and client communication, ensuring the smooth confi guration of our platform, successful deployment of infrastructure, and clear internal coordination.
You’ll act as the first point of contact for new clients, overseeing everything from intake to deployment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with AWS, managing intake documents, coordinating with internal teams, and documenting procedures. Knowledge of software development processes and AWS infrastructure is essential to understanding and executing your responsibilities effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Onboarding & Relationship Management:
○ Serve as the first point of contact during the onboarding process.
○ Host introductory meetings with clients to understand their needs, gather technical and business requirements, and communicate onboarding timelines.
○ Guide clients through the intake process, collecting all necessary details to configure the trader area, back office, and server. - Technical Coordination & Confi guration:
○ Confi gure AWS environments, including ECS task definitions, Secrets Manager, and deploying services using ECS.
○ Load and manage preset configurations in MongoDB to ensure correct back offi ce setup for each client.
○ Work closely with internal developers and DevOps to translate client requirements into technical tasks and deployments. - Team Collaboration:
○ Coordinate with designers, front-end developers, and QA engineers to ensure platform components are delivered on time and meet quality standards. Ensure all departments are aligned and informed throughout the onboarding process. - Documentation & Reporting:
○ Write and maintain internal documentation of onboarding procedures and
client-specific configurations.
○ Prepare regular onboarding reports for senior management, outlining
client progress, challenges, and key milestones.
Requirements
- Proven experience in operations, technical project management, or client
onboarding roles. - Familiarity with MongoDB and loading predefined data sets.
- Comfortable working with technical teams and understanding software
development processes. - Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced
environment.
Nice to have
- Background or certification in AWS.
- Experience with SaaS platforms or fintech/trading-related systems.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Slack, and GitHub.
