Product Owner (Forex & Futures)
Axcera is looking for a driven and experienced Product Owner to join our team and
take ownership of our product development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a
strong background in defining product features, managing priorities, and
collaborating closely with development teams to deliver high-quality solutions. This
role requires the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, along
with experience in modern cloud infrastructure and backend development
frameworks like AWS and the MERN stack. Experience in the Forex (FX) and Futures
trading industry is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Vision and Strategy: Defineandcommunicatetheproductvisionand
strategybasedonmarketanalysis,userfeedback,andbusinessobjectives. - Backlog Management: Prioritise and manage the product backlog, ensuring
alignment with business priorities and technical feasibility. - Requirements Gathering:Collaboratewithstakeholderstogatherand
prioritiserequirements,ensuringclearandconciseuserstoriesand
acceptancecriteria. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:Workcloselywithdevelopment,design,and
QAteamstoensuretimelyandsuccessfulproductreleases. - Technical Guidance: Providetechnicalguidanceanddirectiontodevelopment
teams,translatingbusinessrequirementsintoactionabledevelopmenttasks. - Continuous Improvement:Drivecontinuousimprovementoftheproduct
developmentprocess,incorporatingfeedbackandlessonslearnedfromeach
releasecycle. - Market and CompetitorAnalysis:Conductmarketresearchandcompetitor
analysistoidentifyopportunitiesforproductenhancementand
differentiation. - Release Planning:Coordinatereleaseplanninganddeploymentschedules,
ensuringsmoothandefficientdeliveryoffeaturesandupdates. - User Experience(UX)Optimisation:CollaboratewithUX/UIdesignersto
createintuitiveanduser-friendlyproductexperiences.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a
similar role, preferably in a technology-driven environment. - Industry Experience: Prior experience working in the Forex (FX) and Futures trading industry.
- Product Management: Proven track record of managing end-to-end product
lifecycle from ideation to launch and iteration. - Technical Knowledge: Experience in modern cloud infrastructure and backend
development frameworks like AWS and the MERN stacks. - Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile development practices,
particularly Scrum or Kanban. - Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and interpersonal skills
with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional
teams. - Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a
data-driven approach to decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile
certifications. - Industry Knowledge: Understanding of industry trends, best practices, and
emerging technologies in software development and cloud infrastructure.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
